McGee
Last week in a “non-partisan” manner Ted Strickland appointed a less than popular Frances McGee to the Common Pleas bench. Strickland stated publicly he would entertain nominees from both sides to replace Judge Jack Davis who died earlier this year. The process was anything but non-partisan. His choice shows that Strickland cares less about a non-partisan judiciary and more about pleasing the party that elected him.
Folks in the courthouse are still scratching their heads a week after hearing the Governor’s decision.
Read it and more from the Governor’s website.

Is anyone surprised…
All Strickland has done is bend over backwards for his special interests.
The problem is that no one but bloggers will come out and call him on it. The legislature is too busy with their “lovefest” as the DDN loves to call it and too worried about not playing the middle as the “uniters” of the State.
All the while Stricklands popularity increases and the data losses that he tried to cover up are completely forgotten.
Why is it that we haven’t seen MoveON type attacks saying, “Thousands of citizens lives could be ruined…but for seven days Ted Strickland did nothing.”
No, we are content to allow the Democrats to run ramrod over us and do nothing but sit on our hands and smile.
Awesome!!
